Hearts
of Oak Coach Kenichi Yashuhashi has condemned the actions of the team’s
supporters in their 3-1 loss at home to WA All Stars.
Fans of the Club were in furious mood after expressing their displeasure about the referee’s performance on the day.
Hearts
supports in protest of WA All Stars opening goal threw water bottles
and missile unto the playing turf which delayed proceedings for more
than 10 minutes.
The fans further attacked the referee and his
assistants after the game which took the intervention of the police to
come to the rescue of the match officials.
Yashuhashi is unhappiness about the actions of the supporters.
“I understand their frustration, but I don’t think we should have reacted that way”.
“I
don’t think we should blame the match officials I was also frustrated
as much as our fans well I think many calls which could have gone our
way but it went either ways.”
“The truth is that we did play well
especially in the first half but I hope such incident will not happen
again” Yatstuhashi added.
The Japanese had enjoyed a smooth run having won four out of his last five games before the game against WA All Stars. |
