Founder
and leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GPF) does not understand why she
should wish her arch rival and flagbearer of the opposition New
Patriotic Party (NPP) a happy birthday.
The NPP leader who turns
72 years today March 29, has been receiving well-wishers from all
political parties including the leadership of the ruling National
Democratic Congress (NDC).
But Madam Akua Donkor in an interview on Adom FM said she will not join the bandwagon to wish Akufo-Addo whom she described as his “enemy” a happy birthday.
“I won’t do anything that will make Akufo-Addo happy so I won’t wish him a happy birthday. He is my enemy” she fumed.
Akua
Donkor alleged that all the political parties wishing him [Nana] well
are obliged to do because they are in "bed with the NPP".
“All
the political parties are on Akufo-Addo’s side; it’s only me and Hassan
Ayariga who are against him because he is not a good person” she stated. |
