We know it’s not like we are coming off another branding scandal or anything- so way to go, government. Mathematical sets branded with the images of the President, John Dramani Mahama and the DCE for Asuogyaman, Thomas Ampem Nyarko, are being distributed to schools in the Asuogyaman district of the Eastern region. Mr Nyarko, who would be contesting for the the constituency’s parliamentary seat in the November 7 polls on teh NDC ticket, is spearheading the effort to distribute the math sets to senior high school students in the area. The students were also giving pens, rulers and other educational materials. Ghanaians head to the polls in November to elect new representatives in the Presidential and Parliamentary elections, so we are sure to see more stunts like this going forward.
