Awards organizing entity, Kumawood, has created a new Google App where all information and clues about Kumawood can be found.
The
application, dubbed Kumawood, as the official app for the entity will
contain news about Kumawood, the movie stars, movies, programs etc. The
mobile application was developed by Mr. Joseph Hagan of Papmol Group of
Companies in collaboration with CEO of Kumawood Akoben film festival and
Awards Mr. Samuel Darko.
Kumawood an initiative of Ghanaian
movie producer, Mr. Samuel Darko known in the industry as Samdakus has
over the years been an award organizing company that seeks to award
movie stars who distinguish themselves in the movie scenes throughout
the year.
Their first kind of awards was for the movies made in
Kumasi but in a way of bridging the gap between all regions and to
promote other tribes and culture, they have for the past year's awards
added other regions.
The recent awards ceremony was held in
January this year in Kumasi Golden Tulip Hotel with actor Kwadwo Nkansah
Lilwin picking up the ultimate award, Favorite actor in Ghana among
