Fans of the club trooped to the stadiums in their numbers to catch a glimpse of the Rainbow Club’s first game in this season’s Ghana Premier League.
It was the first time in so many years the club had recorded such a number of spectators at the grounds apart from hearts vrs kotoko games.
A very close and reliable source of the Hearts of Oak team however revealed to GhanaSportsOnline.com in a conversation that the club were able to pull GHC 60,000 as gates peoceeds in their first game in the league.
The source went on to express his desire to have such number of turnout in the term’s sunsequent matches.
Hearts of Oaks were able to defeat New Edubiase, thanks to a 79th minutes strike from substitute Ssamuel Yeboah who capitalized on a lose making to sloth the ball at the back of the net.
Coach kenichi  yatshuhashi  and his charges will next travel to take on medeama SC on Sunday.
